iVina Launches BulletScan Manager for Mac bundled into its Award-Winning Document Scanner Product Line

MacWorld 2011 Booth #517, January 25, 2011 – iVina (www.bulletscan.com), a leading provider of innovative, award-winning document scanners, announced today that its BulletScan document scanner product line will now include support for the Mac OS 10.5 or later versions. iVina will be demonstrating these products at MacWorld in San Francisco at the Moscone Center, Booth # 517 on January 27-29, 2011.
The BulletScan document scanners for the Mac include the BulletScan M80 color duplex mobile scanner; the BulletScan S300 color duplex scanner, recognized as one of PCWorld’s 100 Best Products for 2010; the BulletScan S400 desktop scanner, awarded Business Equipment Research and Test Lab’s (BERTL) 5-Star Exceptional Rating; and the BulletScan F200 and F600 flatbed scanners with integrated automatic document feeders (ADF).

The BulletScan document scanners for both Apple Mac and Microsoft Windows operating systems are powered by ABBYY FineReader Technology for unmatched accuracy in optical character recognition. The scanners are bundled with two industry-leading document management solutions from NewSoft, Presto! Page-Manager for Mac and Presto! BizCard. Presto! Page-Manager enables increased productivity by organizing documents, photographs and files. Presto! BizCard Reader converts business cards into digital files and automatically exports them to your contact manager.
The PCWorld award-winning BulletScan S300 document scanner is two scanners in one for under $300. When docked, the BulletScan S300 scans at 15 pages per minute (PPM) in simplex mode and 30 images per minute (IPM) in duplex mode. When undocked, the S300’s detachable mobile scanner module can scan a page in under 5 seconds. The BulletScan S300 can scan business cards, receipts, photos, plastic ID cards and documents up to legal size.
Both the BulletScan S300 and S400 scanners were also ranked by Business Equipment Research and Test Labs as 5-Star Exceptional Rating in November 2010. The BulletScan S400 is a desktop color duplex scanner rated at 20 PPM and 40 IPM at 300 dpi in black and white, and color. The BulletScan S400 has a 50 page automatic document feeder and lists for under $400. The BulletScan M80 is a USB-powered, duplex color mobile scanner rated at 8 images per minute and lists for under $250.
The BulletScan F200, rated at 20 PPM, and the F600, rated at 30 PPM/60 IPM, are flatbed scanners with integrated automatic document feeders and list for $349 and $1299, respectively. They both have a 50 page capacity automatic document feeder (ADF) and can scan documents up to legal size through its ADF. The BulletScan F600 also offers ultrasonic double page feed detection to minimize misfeeds and paper jams. The BulletScan scanners are covered by a 2-year warranty upon product registration.
